The 30th Meeting of Sino-Thai Railway Cooperation Joint Committee Was Successfully Held
National Development and Reform Commission news: On November 7, the 30th meeting of the Sino-Thai Joint Committee on Railway Cooperation was held by video conference. The meeting was co-chaired by the Chinese Chairman of the Joint Commission, Lin Nianxiu, Vice Director of the National Development and Reform Commission of China, and the Thai Chairman of the Joint Commission, Sasayan, Minister of Transport of Thailand.
The two sides had extensive frank and in-depth discussions on the progress of the first phase (Bangkog-Korat) of the Sino-Thai railroad cooperation project, the second phase (Korat-Nongkhai) cooperation, and fully exchanged and communicated on the next work arrangement, and reached a number of important consensus
The heads of the Chinese National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Commerce, Railway Bureau, Embassy in Thailand, State Railway Group, Export-Import Bank, as well as the Thai Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Finance, supreme Public Prosecutor’s Office, Economic and Social Development Commission and other departments and units attended the meeting.
