Recently, ZOOMLION's 1250-ton crawler crane was successfully delivered to a South African customer, becoming the largest crawler crane in Africa, and also marking another new breakthrough for ZOOMLION in the African market.
The customer for this delivery is a well-known local construction machinery rental company in South Africa. As one of ZOOMLION's star products of ultra-large general hoisting equipment, this crawler crane is the industry's first ultra-high wind power hoisting product that breaks through 190 meters of wind power hoisting and has a rated lifting capacity of 185 tons. It has the advantages of stable and efficient hoisting, intelligent control, precise positioning, and convenient disassembly and assembly, and is deeply trusted and recognized by industry customers.
After the delivery of ZOOMLION's 1250-ton crawler crane, it was immediately put into the construction of local key wind power projects. At 10:05 a.m. local time, at the project site, with the command of the on-site commander, ZOOMLION's crawler crane lifted the 107-ton wind turbine tower steadily, and then installed the tower on the base smoothly. The entire lifting process was closely connected and orderly, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent installation of wind turbines. ZOOMLION's high-quality intelligent manufacturing equipment has won high praise from African customers with its outstanding actual combat performance.
It is understood that ZOOMLION entered the African continent in 2007 and is one of the earliest companies in China's equipment manufacturing industry to enter Africa. At present, ZOOMLION has built a relatively mature sales network system and a three-dimensional localized operation pattern in the African market, and has created records such as China's export of large tower cranes to Africa. With the continuous expansion and deepening of China-Africa cooperation in the new era, ZOOMLION is helping Africa's development with richer and higher-quality advanced equipment.
